The BioEnergy Lists welcomes the REPP Biomass Discussion Lists

REPP ( the Renewable Energy Policy Project) formerly CREST (the Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology). Has generously hosted a suite of renewable energy focused discussion lists, that have been going since the 1990's. Our Owner, Tom Miles, has served as a moderator and manager for most of those lists since we were involved in helping with the Gasification and Biomass Cooking Stove list in the mid 1990's.

Now REPP is changing it's activity, and we are happy to be the new host for these great email discussion conversations. The lists are the same (only the computer that runs the software is changing), and if you were a member of one of the REPP lists, you are already a member (with a new password) of these lists. The main thing that changes for you is the email address to use to reply to messages, and the web site where you change your settings.

For an overview of all the lists, and the link to sign up or change your settings see:

Discussion List Websites: Biomass Cooking Stoves, Gasification, Terra Preta

The Bioenergy Discussion Lists each have individual websites.
- Biomass Cooking Stoves
This site contains information to help people develop better stoves for cooking with biomass fuels in developing regions.
Join the discussion on the BIOMASS COOKING STOVES email list.

- Gasification
This site contains information to help people involved in the development of GASIFICATION SYSTEMS.

Join the discussion on the GASIFICATION email list.

- Biochar (Terra Preta)
This site contains information for people interested in the intentional placement of charcoal in soil to improve productivity can result. TERRA PRETA is the Portuguese term for "black earth" as found in regions of the Amazon.

Join the discussion on the TERRA PRETA email list.

- Anaerobic Digestion
This is a general discussion about technical aspects of anaerobic digestion. The discussion is moderated by Paul Harris, University of Adelaide. Start with the Beginner's Guide to Biogas and take a look at the Biogas Wiki.

Join the discussion on the DIGESTION email list.
